Overall, I'm enjoying the demo so far and will likely pick this up when it comes out.Ĭrew members in FTL have abilities though FTL had skills related to the ship systems and race specific abilities. I agree the menus have some clutter that could be refined - in particular, having the system power on a curve makes it a little harder to read at a glance - I'd prefer a flat meter similar to FTL. Seems like you're more likely to run into multi-jump story arcs.Īlso, I really do think the look is great. In my first run, my captain had the ability to disable enemy shields temporarily.
